Carrefour bids 155 million Euros for Codifrance

Carrefour has reportedly offered €155m to Belgian group Colruyt to acquire Codifrance, a specialist in local food retail, according to La Lettre. The deal would allow the French retailer to take control of a network of more than 3,000 stores supplied by Codifrance.

Among them, around 800 stores operate under various convenience-store brands, including Coccinelle, CocciMarket, Panier Sympa, VivEco and Epi Service. Codifrance employs more than 400 people and generated revenue of €300m in 2025.

The acquisition would, in a sense, mark a return to its roots: Codifrance is a longtime acquaintance of Carrefour, which previously owned the company.
