RaceTrac's $63M Florida remodel project

US fuel retailer RaceTrac is launching a major remodeling initiative at 98 of its convenience stores in Florida, the retailer announced Monday.

Atlanta-based RaceTrac is investing more than $63 million in the project, which covers nearly 40% of its Florida stores, according to the announcement.

Remodels will add RaceTrac’s full grab-and-go pizza bar, a redesigned coffee area and refreshed Swirl World frozen yogurt bar, along with reorganized shelving and updated graphics, signage, paint and decor.

The project is RaceTrac’s largest remodel program in Florida to date and marks the second major remodeling initiative the retailer has announced in recent months as it positions its stores as food destinations.
