PKN Orlen opens first drive-through fuel station

PKN Orlen's first drive in the drive-through format (whether you drive it, if you prefer), Refueling, ordering of gastronomic products and smoking will not require you to get out of the car.

According to PKN Orlen, the fuel station in this format is "a unique solution at European level" and it must respond to customer expectations. The opening of the ORLEN Drive station, as the gas station's new format is called, was preceded by a study by Kantar TNS, which indicated that 100 percent. Polish drivers appreciate the benefits of the drive format, and 8 out of 10 find it suitable for PKN Orlen.

Respondents also explained that they would benefit from such a solution as soon as it arose. Make the first customers in Europe available for driving through stations is an example of the ORLEN's open retail approach. I am convinced that the solutions we implement will meet with great interest from customers says Patrycja Klarecka, member of the PKN ORLEN Board for Retail.

PKN Orlen will start the ORLEN Drive station at MOP in Michaowice on the Wrocaw road. At the new station, two "drivelines" will be available, allowing for the purchase of catering and refueling without having to leave the car. One of the lines is only intended for customers who use gastronomy (not to block traffic).

The group claims that the new project is part of its retail strategy. The purpose of this strategy is, among other things, expansion of the retail network that leads to the development of fast service colors (QSR – Quick Service Restaurant) at gas stations. It is also a part of transforming the station into the points for extensive customer service. In addition, the ORLEN Drive station will be equipped with a self-service kiosk inside the station, if customers would like to use it.
