Shell introduces first robots in Europe at petrol station in Poland

Shell Polska has introduced two mobile robots at the Shell petrol station in Września, Poland

BellaBot delivers ordered products from the gastronomic offer directly to the table, and KittyBot informs about ongoing promotional campaigns, the company said.

Both robots are equipped with 3D sensors and new modular chassis and move with 0.5 seconds of immediate reaction to any obstacles.

These are the first devices of this type to be used at a petrol station in Europe, emphasized in the press release. “Once again this year, as Shell Polska, we are launching a pioneering solution on the Polish market, this time in the context of a non-fuel offer.

It is a unique proposition for customers, not only in Poland, but also in Europe. We are convinced that thanks to this we will further improve the quality of service, respond to customer expectations and make their stay at our station more attractive,” said Monika Kielak-Łokietek, director of the petrol station and retail network development department at Shell Polska.
