HAM launches mobile LNG station in Spain

Spain’s HAM Group has opened a new liquefied natural gas and compressed natural gas filling station for trucks in Sagunto, Valencia.

The station is located on the AP-7, also known as the Mediterranean highway, which is part of the axis that connects the entire Mediterranean coast in Spain, according to a statement by HAM.

The new concept mobile and transportable unit called EDUX and developed by HAM Criogenica has been installed in Sagunto.

This new service station allows the storing and refuelling of LNG to heavy vehicles and trucks and CNG to cars, light vehicles and trucks.

It has a 60-cbm tank, with two CNG dispensers and two LNG dispensers, which allow refuelling “quickly, safely and with a performance equal to that of fixed stations.”

The Barcelona-based firm now has more than 90 LNG and CNG service stations spread across Spain but also on the main European land transport routes.
