Inclusion of more than 200 filling stations of the Hoyer Group in the payment service Clever Pay
Around 680 refuelling stations currently connected throughout Germany
The payment service was launched in December 2021 by the consumer information service Clever Tanken in cooperation with the Europe-wide mobility service provider LOGPAY Transport Services GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Financial Services AG.
"Due to the high acceptance and the large reach of Clever Tanken with more than 32 million visits in May 2022 alone, the Hoyer Group has decided to make its refuelling stations available in the B2C acceptance network of Clever Pay.
As planned, we can gradually expand our offer and thus currently serve around 680 filling stations in the payment system throughout Germany," says Steffen Bock, founder and managing director of Clever Tanken.
With the integration of the LOGPAY payment method, users of the Clever Tanken app can not only determine the cheapest filling station in the area, but also pay for their fuel directly at the petrol pump with their smartphone via the new integrated function.
