Ballenoil will increase its workforce by more than 37%

Ballenoil plans to increase its workforce by more than 37% over the next three years, both in the personnel of the service stations and in its offices, thanks to the 49 openings projected for this period, as reported by the entity.

This increase in workers is related to the growing demand from customers, which in 2018 increased sales by 15% compared to the previous year. Thus, the staff of the stations dedicate a minimum of 40 hours a week.

At the end of 2018 the company had a total of 195 workers in the more than 100 service stations distributed between Catalonia, Asturias, Valencia Madrid, Andalusia and Castilla-La Mancha. In addition, Ballenoil also has employees that offer a customer service operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

To these jobs, we must add those that are created indirectly in other sectors such as services, telecommunications, private security or qualified technicians. The firm estimates that there are some 500 indirect jobs that are created by the activity that develops the fuel operator.
