We're told that Industry legend Anton Martiniussen from Elaflex received a medal for services rendered to the industry on the last evening of this PetroForum event and not before time many people may say, after the tireless work he has conducted for the last 30 years or so on behalf of Elaflex and also the APEA, the industry association of which he was chairman a few years ago.
A snap shot of comments we received over the last couple of days whilst it was all happening on the Costa Brava included; Good weather, nice location, old and new faces from the industry, mix of participants, OEMS as well as MOC's, very well run and relaxed, nothing too hectic, friendly atmosphere, nice food and entertainment. From the photo above, it also seems that men's hats are making a huge come back.
A full review of the event will follow next week, when it becomes available, but for those who attended and also for those who didn't, here is a short news piece to set the scene.
