Petronas' first floating LNG Facility Sets Sail To Malaysia

Petronas' first floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility, 'PFLNG Satu', has set sail to the Kanowit gas field offshore Sarawak on its historic 2,120-nautical mile journey to Malaysia from South Korea.

In a recent statement Petronas said the 365 metre-long PFLNG Satu with a dry weight of 132,000 tonnes was towed from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co Ltd's shipyward in Okpo for the offshore phase of the project.
