While traveling across Texas, you'll find the largest Buc-ee's convenience store in the Hill Country. Now, the biggest location in the Buc-ee's portfolio is making an addition to the store.
The Buc-ee's in New Braunfels will be adding a massive new car wash next year, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing.
The construction on the 5,647-square-foot car wash will begin on February 1, 2023 and is expected to be completed by September 1, 2023. The estimated cost of the construction is $6 million, according to the filing.
Currently, the longest car wash in the world is at the Buc-ee's in Katy. The Katy car wash has 255 feet of conveyor, but it isn't known yet if the New Braunfels car wash tunnel will be bigger than the Katy location's.
The New Braunfels location is the world's largest convenience store at 66,335 square-feet, according to the Buc-ee's website.
