Mapco intros checkout-free store in US

Mapco, a convenience store chain in Southeast, US, has launched its second checkout-free store in Nashville, Tennessee powered by Grabango, according to a press release.

Grabango uses computer vision to eliminate waiting in line and scanning items. The system doesn't require shelf sensors, changes to store layout or product mix.

"We are excited to expand our relationship with Mapco with a second Grabango-powered store and to bring checkout-free shopping to more of their shoppers," Grabango CEO and co-founder Will Glaser said in the press release.
