An American TikTocker, Cara Maria said she was left "mind-blown" after trying to refuel her car, but being confused when there was nowhere at the pumps to pay.
She told her 484,000 followers: "Imagine by surprise coming to the gas stations here in Ireland being like what do I do, where do I put my credit card."
The TikTokker continued: "I walk in the station they're like oh, you fill your gas tank first and then you pay.
"I'm like how do you stop people from just filling up their tanks and driving away, and they're like we trust. She concluded "Ireland versus America ladies and gentlemen."
